 12th and 13th February 2016.

The Seminar was arranged under Quality Improvement Program

 

Since its inception in 2003, the Modern Law College, under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. G. R. Ekbote, has remained steadfast to its commitment for inculcating the ‘spirit of the law’ in the law students.

        In an endeavour to enhance legal skills and augment knowledge of law, the college organised Two Days National Seminar on ““Are Laws Getting Too Feminist?” on 12 th and 13th February 2016.The Seminar was arranged under Quality Improvement Program granted by the Savitribai Phule Pune University and the Title of the Seminar was “Are Laws Getting Too Feminist?”.

 

Themes for the seminar were.

1. Constitutional Framework and Feminism

2. Criminal Law and Feminism

3. Health Law and Feminism

4. Labor Laws and Feminism

5. Family Law and Feminism

 

Participation:

College got tremendous response as around 52 research articles were submitted by Academicians, Lawyers and Students in the seminar. Participants from Delhi, Bangalore, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamilnadu and different parts of Maharashtra participated in the Seminar.

Publication:

41 Research articles accepted and presented in the seminar were published in the form of Souvenir bearing ISBN 987-81-929282-1-0
