Two Year Masters – Credit Pattern

Master of Law is a post graduation course of Savitribai Phule Pune University.The credit system to be implemented through this curriculum, would allow students to develop a strong footing in the fundamentals and specialize in the disciplines of his/her liking and abilities. The students pursuing this course would have to develop in depth understanding of various aspects of the subject.

PO1Enabling students to investigate and learn the specific laws and procedures related to their subject of study, as well as to analyse the judicial reaction.
PO2Interpretation and analysis of legal and social problems, as well as the application of laws and regulations to solve socio-legal issues.
PO3Through the subject of teaching Legal Education and Pedagogy, students will get understanding of teaching methods, allowing them to enter the teaching profession.
PO4Application of ethical concepts and instilling a feeling of professional ethics, duties, and norms in established legal practises in them.
PO5In the broader context of social-legal developments, understanding, enabling, and recognising the value of independent and life-long learning.
